About Sentisystems
SentiSystems develops navigation software and hardware for platforms that must keep positioning when GNSS signals are lost or jammed. Its SentiNAV software fuses inertial, visual, lidar, radar and odometry measurements into a single navigation solution. The SentiHUB, a custom circuit board, timestamps measurements at the point of acquisition against a clock shared across the sensor set.
The stated customers are in maritime, defence and industrial sectors, and the company offers its navigation solutions to those who integrate, procure or operate such platforms. Named work includes autonomous navigation for four zero-emission ferries on the Lavik–Oppedal route with Norwegian Electric Systems (NES), and vision-based navigation for precise lunar landing developed with ESA.
SentiSystems is a spin-off from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), emerging from its Department of Engineering Cybernetics, and is developed in Trondheim, where it is registered. The company was founded in 2021, and its website states over a decade of R&D. It is a member of the NVIDIA Inception programme and lists ROS1 and ROS2 and TSN compatibility.
