Sensio AS develops care technology for elderly care. Its products include the RoomMate infrared safety sensor, which gives continuous awareness of activity and flags potential falls, and the Sensio 365 eHealth platform, which gives care staff one view of alarms and residents. The product line also covers silent nurse call systems, mobile security alarms and the Sensio Pocket app.

Customers are elderly care providers, care homes and home care organisations, as well as private homes. The company says it develops its own software and the most critical hardware parts, and it sells through integration partners and directly to end customers.

Sensio was founded in 2009 and has its head office in Oslo, with offices in Sandefjord, Stockholm, Malmö, Copenhagen, Veijen and Leeds. The website reports more than 150,000 care recipients in six countries. Current job postings in Oslo, Malmö and Sandefjord include embedded software, machine learning, data engineering, AI leadership and system support roles.
