Customers include telecom projects, security installations for industry, ports and energy facilities, municipalities and electrical contractors for lighting, and energy and industrial projects. The company sells its products and services to these project buyers, and in 2026 it won a framework agreement with the Swedish Maritime Administration (Sjöfartsverket) for masts, towers and related infrastructure.
Scanmast dates its history to 1929 and states that its products are used across Scandinavia. It has launched EverSteel, an initiative for steel with lower climate impact, and in 2026 became a member of the Swedish security and defence industry association SOFF. Open positions listed are a quality engineer and a material and logistics planner, both in Mora.
