About Scandinavian Reach Technologies
Scandinavian Reach Technologies builds Onboard Wireless Connectivity (OWC), a wireless IoT mesh network for vessels and offshore installations. The system uses in-house designed mesh nodes, a gateway that connects the vessel LAN to the ScanReach cloud, and an API for integration with other systems. It connects sensors, equipment, cargo and people, including ConnectPOB wearable tags for personnel-on-board control.
Product modules cover fuel and emissions monitoring, cargo monitoring, machine monitoring, security and access control, and fire risk and onboard safety. The customers are vessel operators in the maritime and offshore industry. The solution is sold on a subscription plan, and installation can be done by the customer or by the company's technicians.
The company was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Haugesund, Norway. Its mesh nodes and wearable tags are designed and produced in Norway. The company's quality management system is built to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 80079-34:2018 requirements, and the product is certified by DNV.
Product: Onboard Wireless Connectivity: mesh nodes, gateway, wearable ConnectPOB tags and API for wireless sensor data on vessels and offshore installations.
