Safera

Safera Oy, a Finnish company, develops sensor technology for kitchens and indoor environments. Its products include FlowHero, a demand-controlled ventilation system for professional kitchens that the company says reduces energy consumption by up to 50% without weakening air quality; DustHero, which continuously measures fine particles in work environments; and Sense Integral, an integrated demand-control system for smart cooker hoods in homes. The company also offers stove guards that cut power to a hob when needed, with optional text-message alerts, plus the Safera Cloud service and the Safera App.

Customers include households, professional kitchens, workplaces and appliance manufacturers. For manufacturers, Safera offers technology cooperation to integrate its sensor systems into their own products.

Safera was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. Its website is published in Finnish, English, Norwegian, Swedish, German, French and Danish.
