About Reetec

REEtec develops and operates a proprietary separation technology for producing high-purity rare earth elements, offering oxides and nitrates at different purity levels with chemical analysis documentation.

Its customers are manufacturers in the rare earth and magnet supply chain; the company sells rare earth products and offers them on request via sales@reetec.no. Its first industrial separation plant is under construction at Herøya, Porsgrunn, Norway. LKAB, the international mining and minerals group, is the largest shareholder following the latest financing round, which raised NOK 1200 million according to the website.

The company was founded in 2021 and is registered in Oslo, with its headquarters at Karenslyst allé in Oslo and a production unit in Porsgrunn. The separation technology has operated at industrial scale in a demo plant since 2019 and has been developed since 2008.
