About Purpletail

Purpletail OÜ sells VoltSense, a battery-powered boat monitoring device. The VoltSense P2 tracks GPS position, up to three battery voltages and bilge pump status over LTE-M or NB-IoT and sends alerts to a mobile app or e-mail. Wireless add-ons include an EYE Bluetooth sensor and an e-paper display, and the VoltSense HUB adds fleet management with maintenance logs and reports.

Customers include boat owners, storage and service providers, marinas and rental fleets. The P2 is sold directly online to EU customers for €282 excl. VAT, including the first year of service, with a €96 yearly service fee after that. Australia and New Zealand are served through an authorised partner.

Purpletail OÜ was founded in 2023 and is based in Tallinn, Estonia. The devices are designed and assembled in Estonia and use Nordic Semiconductor's nRF9151 cellular chip. The company serves boat owners across the Nordic region and Australia, and has exhibited at METSTRADE.

Product: VoltSense P2 boat device with GPS, battery voltage, bilge pump and temperature monitoring; EYE sensor and e-paper add-ons; VoltSense HUB fleet platform.
