About SCALE Nanotech

SCALE Nanotech develops electro-optic micro-elements and adaptive optics based on photonic nano-membranes, using its proprietary GMOD® technology built around graphene and other advanced materials. It targets next-generation spatial light modulators and displays.

It also provides R&D and consulting services on advanced nanomaterials, microdevices and system components, including simulations, design, fabrication, experiment realization and project management. Its core photonics hardware is developed in its own lab. The company's main leadership and funding information cites the MEGAMORPH project, part of the EU Horizon 2020-funded ATTRACT initiative, with €2 million in funding, which focuses on graphene-based holographic displays with partners including Graphenea, Morphotonics, CIN-ergy and VividQ.

SCALE Nanotech was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, operating through the Estonian e-Residency program with distributed R&D. It is led by Managing Director Dr. Santiago Cartamil-Bueno.
