Prevost designs and sells compressed air and fluid distribution equipment. Prevost was founded in 1978 in Annecy-le-Vieux, France, where its primary corporate office and distribution center is located. The company has business in Germany (since 1997) and Spain (since 2004), a US subsidiary, Prevost Corp., established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1999, and Prevost UK Ltd. (2010).
