Prague City Tourism

Prague City Tourism is the official destination management organization of the City of Prague and a 100% subsidiary of the city as its sole shareholder. It operates a number of Prague towers under lease, tourist information centres, the Prague Visitor Pass, a tour route in the Klementinum, historic tram no. 42, and a line of souvenirs, and it certifies licensed tour guides.

Its customers include visitors to Prague and tourism-sector professionals and partners, to whom it offers B2B services and partner sales of its product portfolio. Its activities are defined by two main contracts with the city, a public-benefit services contract and a lease of towers, alongside commercial activities such as the visitor pass and other tourist products.

The company is registered with a founding date of 25 July 2018, and its website states that it has been active in tourism since 1958. According to the website, it served over 1.1 million tourists at its information centres and over 1.8 million visitors at its towers in 2023.
