About Petroleum Experts

Petex (PE Limited) develops engineering and structural geology software. Its IPM Suite models reservoirs, wells and surface networks as one production system, the DOF Suite integrates these into a real-time platform, and the MOVE Suite supports structural modelling and analysis. FieldMOVE apps for smartphones and tablets let geologists collect field data and build models in MOVE.

Customers are energy operators, petroleum engineers and geoscientists, with a growing focus on mining and other industries. The company reports more than 500 client companies, over 80% of business delivered internationally, and operations in more than 100 countries. It also donates its IPM and MOVE suites to universities for research and training.

Petex was founded in 1990 and is registered in Edinburgh, Scotland. It also operates a Guildford site in England. The careers page seeks engineers, geoscientists, data scientists and other specialists for simulation, optimisation, real-time data integration and AI work.

Product: IPM Suite, DOF Suite and MOVE Suite for integrated production modelling, real-time asset integration and structural geology, plus FieldMOVE mobile apps.
