Pinewood.AI provides a cloud-based Automotive Intelligence Platform for car dealerships and vehicle manufacturers (OEMs). Its product modules cover service, F&I, customer, business, accounting, sales, parts and manufacturer intelligence, and include the CARS AI product.

The website says the platform is used by over 2,000 dealers in 36 countries, with more than 50,000 daily users as of late 2025. Customers are dealer groups and OEMs; the website does not describe pricing or the detailed revenue model.

Pinewood was founded in 1981 in London and began as a dealer management system (DMS) provider. It spun out as Pinewood Technologies Group PLC (LSE: PINE) in February 2024, rebranded as Pinewood.AI, and acquired Seez in March 2025 and the remaining 51% of its North American joint venture in June 2025. The company lists its headquarters in Birmingham, with offices in London, Sweden, Dubai, South Africa, Japan, the Netherlands and North America, and reports over 300 employees. Its open roles include software development, training and implementation consulting, product management, QA and support, mainly in the UK, North America and South Africa.
