About Paystrax
PAYSTRAX is a payment acquirer that holds Visa and Mastercard Principal Membership licences and is an authorised Payment Institution in the UK and the EU. Its products include an online payment gateway supporting Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and PCI DSS-compliant POS terminals for in-store payments. The group was founded in 2018 with offices in Vilnius and Reykjavik after it acquired a payment institution licence from the Bank of Lithuania, and it acquired the UK online payment provider Nochex in 2025.
