About passwordsafe.de

Password Secure is a password management software for businesses that centrally stores encrypted passwords, documents and other secrets. It includes role-based access control, password sharing with defined durations, a password generator with policy levels, browser extension login and offline access for users.

It is offered as self-hosted software on a customer's own servers (on-premises, cloud or hybrid), or as a managed service set up and run by certified MSP partners. The product targets SMEs and large enterprises; the website states that more than half of DAX 40 companies use it and that thousands of companies trust it. Licences are counted per user and can be adjusted monthly.

The software is developed by MATESO, which has offices in Neusäß and Berlin, and the website describes it as made in Germany. Netwrix acquired MATESO in September 2022. MATESO's careers page lists open positions, including software engineering roles.
