About paddy
paddy is an AI assistant for teachers that works as a chat. Users describe what they need, including by voice message, and receive ready-to-use material such as worksheets, podcasts and tasks. The product includes curricula of all German federal states, and students can use shared tools through temporary QR-code access without an account.
The main customers are teachers in primary schools, secondary schools (Sekundarstufe I and II) and school operators. Individual users can use a basic version for free with 5 prompts per day. The Premium plan costs 12.49 € per month billed annually or 19.90 € per month billed monthly. Schools can buy separate licences that include onboarding, training and a named contact person.
The company states that its data is processed and stored only on German servers and that user input is not used for AI training. It is hiring for a backend engineer, an AI product engineer and a creative producer for video and content, with the roles listed in Bielefeld, Germany.
