About phase-6.de
phase6 GmbH develops phase6, a vocabulary and grammar training app for language lessons. Vocabulary collections cover the words of individual school textbooks, sorted, with audio and quality checks. An English grammar training module is aligned with the curriculum. The LUNIS ink pen transfers handwritten vocabulary to the app through handwriting recognition, available for English, French and Latin.
Customers are students, parents and teachers, as well as schools. Users can use basic functions for free or buy monthly or annual packages (Gold, Platin, Diamant) priced per account, individual vocabulary collections, and school offers such as bulk orders and school licences.
The company has been on the market since 2005 and is based in Berlin, where most of its team of around 40 employees works. Its team is organised around OKRs, and it uses Notion, Slack, Amplitude and Metabase among its main tools.
Product: phase6 vocabulary and grammar training app with paid packages, vocabulary collections per textbook, and the LUNIS ink pen.
