About Opico
Opico Ltd distributes agricultural machinery in the UK. It is the UK importer for the HE-VA, Alpego, Ovlac, Simtech, Rumex and FarmDroid brands and sells its own-brand machines, including gas and diesel recirculating batch grain dryers, grassland machines, mechanical weeding harrows, interrow cultivators, post hole diggers, seeders and micro-granule applicators. Genuine parts are also stocked.
Customers are farm machinery dealers and, through them, farmers. Opico supplies machinery and parts to a network of dealers, whose sales teams are supported by its territory managers and product specialists, and its service engineers help dealers set up new machines, carry out pre-delivery inspections and resolve breakdowns. Dealer training is also offered.
The business was established in Essex in 1966 as a subsidiary of an American agricultural machinery export company. It moved to Spalding and then to Bourne, Lincolnshire, and in 2008 it moved to a 50,000 sq ft factory in Bourne, where it is based. The current legal entity, OPICO Limited, was incorporated in 2007. The company is currently recruiting a workshop operative in Bourne.
