About Okmetic

Okmetic supplies customized silicon wafers, including 150–200 mm polished, SOI, high-resistivity RFSi, patterned and TSV wafers, plus partner-manufactured 300 mm and EPI wafers. Its wafers are used to build MEMS, sensor, RF, power, memory, logic and mixed-signal ICs.

Its customers are semiconductor companies, many of which have been customers for decades. Sales and customer support are organised from Finland, Germany, France, the United States, Japan, Singapore and China, with sales agents in Korea and Taiwan. Okmetic Inc. is its North America sales office.

Okmetic was established in 1985 and is headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, where most of its wafers are manufactured, including a fab expansion focused on 200 mm polished wafers completed in 2025. The company lists open positions in production, maintenance, technical and sales roles in Vantaa and across its sales organisation.
