About Optitune

Optitune Oy develops nano-engineered coatings for glass, plastic and metal surfaces, aimed at improving durability, optical properties and sustainability. Product lines include metal and glass coatings, plastic coatings, light management materials and opto-electronic materials. Services include R&D and Coating as a Service, with access to synthesis and testing facilities.

Customers are manufacturers in automotive, consumer electronics and displays, home appliances and kitchen accessories, and HVAC and energy-efficient solutions. The company has announced a strategic collaboration with Franke Home Solutions, a strategic partnership with Thunder Corporation on easy-to-clean hard coatings for consumer electronics, and a supply agreement with a producer of laptops and tablets.

Optitune was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Oulu, Finland. It has reported a 4M EUR growth financing round and a 5M growth financing round. A recent hiring round added 8 full-time employees in sales, development and engineering.
