About Octus
Octus is a credit intelligence and financial data provider, formerly known as Reorg, which rebranded in October 2024. Its products include Octus Credit Intelligence news and analysis, the FinDox document repository, Direct Data Services (REST APIs and Snowflake or Databricks data sharing), and the Octus MCP Connector for routing its content into large language model environments. Coverage spans sub-investment grade credit, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds and private credit.
Customers are investment banks, buy-side firms, law firms and advisory firms. Clients subscribe to the platform, data and workflow tools.
Octus was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in New York, with offices in Los Angeles, London and Bogota. In its announcements, the company says it has integrations with Hebbia, Rogo, Harvey and Perplexity. LSEG has announced an agreement to acquire Octus, with closing expected in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals; until then the two companies operate separately.
