About Neal's Yard Dairy
Neal's Yard Dairy selects, matures and sells British and Irish cheese. It works with about 40 cheesemakers from Britain and Ireland, chooses individual batches to sell, and matures them in its own maturation arches.
Customers include consumers who order cheese online for delivery across Britain, and shops and restaurants served through its wholesale team, which also supplies export and international stockists. Sales also come from five shops in London and from corporate gifts and a cheese-of-the-month subscription.
The company was founded in 1979 by Randolph Hodgson in Covent Garden, London, as a small shop. It is registered as Neal's Yard Dairy Limited, with its headquarters in London. Its careers page lists seasonal retail cheesemonger roles for the December peak.
Product: Selected and matured British and Irish cheeses sold online, in London shops, and wholesale for shops, restaurants and export.
