About Newsells Park Winery

Newsells Park Winery produces English sparkling wine from its vineyard on the Newsells Park estate near Royston, Hertfordshire. The vineyard was planted in spring 2022 with 41,000 vines across 25 acres, using the three champagne varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

The company sells its wines to consumers and runs a Wine Club whose membership offers access to estate events, its wines and the vineyard. The estate's thoroughbred stud, established in 1926, also hosts raceday events and related gift offers.

Newsells Park Winery Ltd was founded in 2022 and is registered in Great Britain. Planning permission for a £6 million winery of 1855 sq m was granted in November 2023, with groundbreaking expected in 2026/2027. The estate is owned by Graham and Marcela Smith-Bernal, who bought Newsells Park Stud and its bloodstock in 2021.

Product: English sparkling wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier), Wine Club membership and estate events.
