About Nameto

Nameto builds Nameto CNS, a carrier-grade caching DNS resolver, and operates DNS services for organizations that sell internet access. Its offering also includes a DNS QoE Assurance Service that analyzes resolver traffic captures, and DNS support from engineers who run carrier DNS.

Customers are mobile operators, major broadband providers and other subscriber-focused ISPs, which use Nameto to reduce DNS costs, resolve incidents faster and improve quality of experience. The company runs the resolver service on the customer's behalf, including deployment, tuning and day-to-day operation, and sells software, analysis and support services.

Nameto is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, and its legal entity is Nameto Oy, founded in 2023. The website cites a production deployment serving subscriber bases of tens of millions of users.

Product: Nameto CNS, a carrier-grade caching DNS resolver that runs on commodity servers, plus a DNS QoE Assurance Service and DNS support.
