About MSL Heat Treatment
MSL Heat Treatment provides vacuum brazing and vacuum heat treatment services, including vacuum hardening, vacuum annealing, vacuum stress relieving, solution treatment with precipitation hardening, and MuMetal brazing. It treats materials such as tool steels, high speed steel, stainless steels, copper alloys, Inconel, nickel alloys and soft magnetic alloys. Parts are cleaned in-house before processing, and quality checks include furnace chart review, visual inspection, hardness testing and leak testing.
Customers are manufacturers who send in parts for treatment to their own or industry specifications. The company quotes on customer specifications, states it gives quotes within 24 hours, and is certified to EN 9100:2018, the aerospace quality standard.
The company was formed through the acquisition of CNC Vacuum Processes, whose vacuum heat treatment expertise dates back over 40 years. It operates from a plant just outside Gatwick, and its registered office is in Staplehurst, United Kingdom. It is working towards AS9100 Rev D certification.
