Montonio provides a checkout, payments, shipping and refund platform for online stores. Merchants accept bank payments, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and pay later through one checkout, and print shipping labels, manage carrier contracts, and send branded tracking pages. It connects to WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento and OpenCart, and offers an API for custom stores.
Its customers are online merchants, from first-time sellers to businesses shipping several hundred orders a week. Pricing combines monthly subscription plans, starting at €11.99 per month, with per-transaction card and bank payment fees and per-parcel shipping fees.
Montonio was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Tallinn, with an office in Vilnius. The website states 65 employees, €18m in funding and a Series A round backed by Index Ventures and Superangel. It serves over 8,000 merchants across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, and recently became available in Finland. The company is licensed by the Bank of Lithuania.
