About Paylar

Paylar, UAB is a Lithuanian electronic money institution licensed and supervised by the Bank of Lithuania. Its services include a dedicated IBAN account for each client, same-day SEPA transfers and multi-currency worldwide payments.

Customers are businesses and private individuals; the company publishes separate terms for business entities and for private individuals.

The company was founded in 2019 and is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was formerly known as UAB "UPLATA EU". From 6 October 2026, the obligation to safeguard and return the electronic money of Paylar clients was transferred to Paysera LT, UAB, which returns the funds at full nominal value free of charge.
