MICRORISC

MICRORISC develops and manufactures the IQRF wireless mesh technology, which lets manufacturers add wireless connectivity and Internet connection to their products. Its product range includes the IQRF Lighting Bridge, lighting controllers for street lighting, IQAROS indoor air sensors, gateways and repeaters, as well as custom electronic and electromechanical development and visual control panels.

The company also distributes electronic components from several manufacturers, including Microchip, Fujitsu FCL, Hirose, Formike Displays, Circuit Design and Kinetic. Its customers are electronics manufacturers and system integrators, and it sells both its own products and components.

MICRORISC s.r.o. was founded in 1999 in Jičín, Czech Republic, and has a research and technology centre in the Jičín industrial zone. IQRF Tech s.r.o. was spun off in 2017 to handle the IQRF technology, including patents and know-how. The company states that more than half of its employees work in R&D, and it recruits for development, technology, production, technical support and sales.
