About NAM system
NAM system develops and manufactures monitoring hardware and software in-house, including the ONI system vehicle and asset tracking platform, the 1Box central monitoring station (PCO) equipment, the HelpLivi personal-alarm system for care facilities, the EOKO municipal waste-collection monitoring system and the MALA consumer GPS tracker.
Customers include alarm and monitoring centres, fleet operators, transport companies, municipalities and waste-collection operators, care homes and social-service providers, and private consumers buying the MALA tracker. The company supplies hardware, software, operator training and 24/7 support, and its website describes it as a manufacturer selling systems and services to these customers.
NAM system was founded in 1990 in Orlová by its owner and managing director Jiří Tomčala and became a joint-stock company (a.s.) in 2000. Its headquarters are in Havířov (Prostřední Suché), and it has a Slovak subsidiary, NAM Slovakia s.r.o. (2009), and a Polish subsidiary, NAM Polska sp. z o.o. (2026). The website states that more than 120 people work at the company and lists open roles in embedded C/C++ development, marketing and ONI system sales in Brno and South Moravia.
Product: Monitoring hardware and software: ONI system GPS fleet tracking, 1Box central-station (PCO) equipment, HelpLivi care alarms, EOKO waste monitoring and MALA GPS tracker.
