About Medlyse
Medlyse develops a diagnostic solution that analyses volatile organic compounds in exhaled breath and uses AI to interpret them for detecting diseases early. The method is painless and does not require needles or laboratory tests. The solution is intended to support clinicians' decision-making.
The solution is aimed at clinical use across the patient lifespan, from newborns to older adults. The company plans a first clinical pilot with HUS (Helsinki University Hospital) in autumn 2026, focused on neonatal sepsis and hypoglycaemia. Its seed funding round, opened in August 2026, is intended to fund the first clinical validation and first regulatory application.
Medlyse is headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, and was founded in 2023. Its roadmap targets FDA 510(k) clearance and a commercial launch in the United States in 2028, and CE marking and market entry in Europe in 2029. The company's partnership offer covers clinical piloting, software platform and distribution.
