About Mapvision

Mapvision develops in-line inspection systems for automotive production. Its multi-camera Q-Series inspects every feature of a part within a 30-second cycle time, including EV battery trays and body-in-white. The product range also includes Result Suite, a tool for inspection data management and process capability analysis, and an AI-based weld seam inspection system that classifies weld seams as OK or Not-OK from captured images.

Customers are automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. The company reports more than 350 systems delivered globally and more than 600 parts being inspected by its systems.

Mapvision was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Helsinki, where it also offers live demonstrations of its systems. It has offices in four countries and colleagues from more than 15 nationalities.
