About Kegstar

Kegstar runs an outsourced keg supply chain for brewers. It supplies shared, reusable Kegstar-branded kegs, handles delivery and collection of empty kegs, and repairs or replaces kegs that are unfit to fill at its own cost. The UK range includes 50 L, 30 L and 20 L kegs and 9-gallon casks.

Customers are breweries, from small startups to large producers. Brewers order and fill kegs and Kegstar handles the rest of the keg logistics. It sells a pay-per-fill keg programme, so brewers pay only for the kegs they use rather than owning or leasing their own fleet. The company states that its shared model saves over 10 million kg of greenhouse gas emissions versus owned kegs annually across the MicroStar network.

Kegstar was founded in 2015 and was acquired by MicroStar in 2021; it operates as part of MicroStar's global network of shared kegs. It has offices in Milton Keynes, Rotterdam, Dublin, Surry Hills (Sydney) and Wellington. Its careers page lists an open Accounts Payable Specialist role in Denver, Colorado.

Product: Outsourced pay-per-fill shared keg programme with keg supply, collection and repair for breweries.
