About Kelly European Freight Services
Kelly European Freight Services Ltd provides road transport and temperature-controlled logistics, including full-load, part-load and groupage services across chilled, frozen and ambient classes. It also offers storage and cross-docking at a 50,000 square foot temperature-controlled warehouse in Lisburn, and runs live fleet telematics and an on-site workshop.
Its customers are businesses that move goods within their supply chains, mainly between Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the UK and the Benelux countries, with wider Eastern European destinations served through third-party partners. The company sells transport and storage services to these customers.
The business was established in 1997 by brothers Adrian and Patrick Kelly and is part of the KFW Group; its sister company KFW Group Ltd is an importer and wholesaler of cut flowers and pot plants. The company reports a fleet of over 40 tractor units, over 50 split-temperature refrigerated trailers and over 55 staff. Current openings include a transport planner, a part-time HGV diesel mechanic and full-time HGV drivers for routes to France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
