About Kairos Technology

Kairos Technology AS develops software for control room operators in the process industry. Its products are Control Room Assistant (CRA), which supports operators with real-time insights and guidance, Hazop Assistant (HA) for process safety analysis, and Emissions Radar (EmRad), an add-on to CRA for emissions reduction. The software combines deterministic modelling, propagation simulation and artificial intelligence, based on Multilevel Flow Modelling.

Customers are industrial companies and control room operators, and process safety and HAZOP consultants. The software is sold as Software as a Service. CRA pricing depends on asset size, hosting, data streaming, number of users and services, and a separate startup project covers IT/OT setup and process modelling.

The company was founded in Stavanger, Norway, in 2014 by Bjarne André Asheim and was previously named Eldor Technology. It has an office at DTU Science Park in Lyngby, Denmark, where Kairos Technology Aps was founded in 2018. Proventure and Skagerak Maturo invested in the company in June 2019. It works with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre (DHRTC).
