About JCB Medway
The JCB Group is a family-owned motor dealer group that sells new and used cars and vans and provides aftercare, servicing, MOT, parts and accessories. It represents several franchised brands, including Volkswagen, Renault, Dacia, SEAT, CUPRA, Alpine and Kia, and also operates Motability Scheme, rental, fleet and vehicle delivery services.
Customers include private buyers, Motability Scheme customers, fleet and rental clients, and owners using its service and parts departments. Revenue comes from new and used vehicle sales, aftercare and servicing, and parts sales, according to the company's description of its services.
The group was founded in December 1998 by Jonathan Bischoff, starting with one Volkswagen showroom at JCB Medway in Gillingham Business Park, which is now its head office. It has multiple sites in Kent, Sussex and Essex and states over 600 employees. Its careers page lists openings for sales executives, technicians and service advisors.
