About Intercarat
Intercarat develops, produces and ships custom molded and composite parts made from elastomers, PTFE and composites of rubber, plastic and metal. Its range includes diaphragms for pumps and valves, seals and sealing rings, covers and masking, and watch straps. Parts are made from 0.1 gram to 2 kilograms, starting at lot size 1, with up to 2,000,000 units produced per year. The company also offers co-engineering, material selection by medium and approval, geometry review and damage analysis.
Customers are industrial manufacturers in medical technology, beverage, chemical engineering and pharmaceuticals, as well as other industries. The company supplies compounds that comply with FDA, USP, 3A, ACS, KTW/W270 and EU 1935/2004 and is audited regularly to ISO 9001.
Intercarat was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Altorf, near Strasbourg, France. It is a member of the GEMÜ Group, where it serves as the group's competence centre for elastomers and PTFE. The group has more than 2,500 employees worldwide. Current open positions are for a process development technician and a process injection engineer for elastomers, with French as the working language.
