About Hypromag

HyProMag develops rare-earth magnet recycling based on its licensed, patented Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap (HPMS) technology. The hydrogen-based process extracts and demagnetises NdFeB magnets from scrap and redundant equipment, producing alloy powder for reprocessing into magnets and alloys.

The company is developing recycling facilities for automotive, electronics, energy and other supply chains. It operates a plant at Tyseley Energy Park in Birmingham and is deploying its technology in the UK, Germany and the United States.

HyProMag Ltd was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Birmingham. Its German subsidiary, HyProMag GmbH, is developing a recycling plant in Germany; first commercial production of recycled NdFeB alloy in the UK was achieved in June 2025.

Product: HPMS-based recycling of NdFeB magnet scrap into alloy powder, recycled magnets and alloys.
