About I-Mist

iMist Ltd designs, manufactures, installs and services high-pressure water mist fire suppression systems for residential properties in the UK. The systems use up to 80% less water than traditional sprinklers and are mains water-fed, without stored water tanks. Integrated downlight nozzles are offered to reduce ceiling clutter.

Customers include homeowners and developers of flats, student accommodation, care homes, HMOs, hotels and social housing. Offerings cover system supply, installation, annual servicing and a monitoring system, with a 10-year warranty when the system is serviced annually.

The company was founded in 2015 by Tony Sims and Alex Pollard, and is headquartered in West Malling. It states that it has completed over 14,000 installations across the UK and that all design and installation work is carried out by its own employees.
