Frieda Gormley and Javvy M Royle first conceived the brand in 2011 in a London townhouse. House of Hackney is a certified B Corp, and in 2023 an independent director representing Nature and Future Generations joined its board. It is currently recruiting for a senior communications role based in Shoreditch, London.
