About Hofseth Biocare

Hofseth BioCare (HBC) is a salmon business that turns Norwegian salmon off-cuts into marine bioactive ingredients using a patented enzymatic hydrolysis process. Its ingredient lines are ProGo bioactive peptides for metabolic health, OmeGo full spectrum omegas for immune health, and NT-II undenatured type II collagen for joint health.

Customers include brands in human nutrition and pet nutrition. The company supplies ingredients and also sells branded products, including Brilliant salmon oil for dogs and cats, through online retailers such as Amazon UK and Amazon US. Nestlé Garden of Life has launched OmeGo full spectrum omegas in the US.

Hofseth BioCare was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Ålesund, Norway. It also has offices in Oslo, Zürich, London, Chicago, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo and Menlo Park, California. A 2025 strategic partnership with Symrise to build out the Berkåk site is described as tripling the group's manufacturing capacity.
