About herpa.de

Herpa Miniaturmodelle GmbH designs and produces scale miniature models of cars, trucks and aircraft, in scales such as 1:87, 1:200 and 1:500, sold to collectors and model railway enthusiasts. The company also supplies models to businesses for advertising and merchandising, and its catalogue contains more than 1,500 available models.

Sales go through the model hobby retail trade and an international dealer network. The website also lists a product archive, club models and a sale section.

The company was founded in 1949 by Wilhelm Hergenröther and is headquartered at its main site in Dietenhofen, Germany, where around 200 employees work together with a plant in Hungary. A museum of miniatures is located at the Dietenhofen site. The company is owned by Fürst Andreas zu Leiningen. Its job listings cover apprenticeships and production and warehouse roles.
