haushaltsdaten.de

haushaltsdaten.de presents municipal budgets (Kommunalhaushalte) as a web application. It offers an overview of key budget figures, an interactive and searchable budget view, pie charts of income and expenses with filters, and automatically calculated key indicators with year-on-year comparison. An integrated glossary explains budget terms on each page.

The service is sold to German municipalities and counties, which send their budget data to the company for preparation and ongoing maintenance of the public budget site. Import scripts exist for several common municipal finance programmes, and the company states it builds connections for other systems at no extra cost. Pricing starts at 82 € per month. Listed municipal customers include Stadt Frankfurt am Main, Kreis Paderborn, Main-Taunus-Kreis, Stadt Dreieich and Stadt Lich. The product is operated by eOpinio GmbH, based in Wettenberg, Germany.

Additional pages such as investment presentations, FAQs or citizen surveys can be added, and historical budget years and medium-term financial plans can be included on request. The site is responsive for mobile devices.
