About Grist Environmental
Grist Environmental, based in Devizes, Wiltshire, provides waste management and recycling services, including skip hire, wheelie bin hire, scrap metal processing, hazardous waste collection and segregated recycling. Collected waste is processed at a licensed materials recovery facility, and the company operates a zero-to-landfill policy. It also offers automotive services: vehicle sales, spare parts, vehicle recovery, bodywork repair and end-of-life vehicle scrapping.
The company serves construction and demolition, commercial and industrial, event and agricultural clients, with event services covering waste management, equipment hire and cleaning teams. Its customers include estates, bakeries and rail engineering firms named on its website.
Grist Environmental was incorporated in 1993 and its website states that it was established in 1972. It is a family-run group, and its website says it employs over one hundred and fifty staff in the Devizes area. Its sites are in and around Devizes, serving Wiltshire and the South West, and the group has acquired Moores Recycling, based in Frome, Somerset, which specialises in plastic granulation and cardboard recycling. Current vacancies include RCV loaders, recycling operatives, LGV mechanics and an MOT tester.
Product: Waste collection, skip and wheelie bin hire, scrap metal and hazardous waste services, event waste services, and vehicle sales, repair and scrapping.
