About Formpack
Formpack GmbH develops and manufactures custom foam packaging and protective inserts from polyethylene (PE) foam, polyurethane (PU) soft foam and Styropor®, and also offers the Arplank material. Services range from development and prototyping to series production, including cut-to-size parts, constructive packaging and contour packaging.
The company supplies industrial, logistics, automotive and retail customers, including packaging wholesalers, electronics, medical technology, vehicle and aerospace manufacturers. It states that it serves over 500 customers in Germany and neighbouring countries. Quotes and sample parts are prepared per project, and it delivers to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, or customers can collect orders.
Formpack was founded on 1 April 1980 by Gerd Rust and Udo Kraft in Limeshain and moved to Altenstadt (Hessen) in 1988. Its managing directors are Otto Kraft and Lars Hebes. The company is family-owned and has over 60 employees in production and logistics, with 4,000 m² of production space and 3,000 m² of storage on a site of over 12,500 m². It holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and is hiring machine operators and production helpers on full-time, permanent contracts.
