FLOY

FLOY provides an invoicing service for Finnish "kevytyrittäjä" (light entrepreneurs), who work as freelancers without registering their own company. Users create invoices through the online service; FLOY checks each invoice before sending it to the client, then pays the net amount to the worker after deducting taxes, insurance premiums and its service fee. FLOY acts as the legal intermediary, handling VAT, withholding tax and statutory contributions.

The service is aimed at individual workers across many sectors, including construction, logistics, technology, sales and marketing, industrial work and events. Revenue comes from a service fee of 5% of billed amounts, with a minimum fee of 7 euros, and an optional invoice financing option charged at an additional 5%. FLOY also offers an insurance package covering liability and accident insurance up to 1M€ through its partner Fennia.

The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.
