About Fjord Defence

Fjord Defence develops and manufactures weapon mounts and accessories for ground, maritime and vehicle platforms. Ground products include lightweight tripods and soft mount systems that reduce recoil forces. Maritime products are corrosion-resistant mounts, pedestals and gunwale systems built mainly in stainless steel 316 for RIBs, patrol boats and naval platforms. Vehicle products include weapon mounts, skate mounts and swing arms, such as the HMG swing arm with up to 220 mm of height adjustment.

The company serves end-users and B2B partners, including international defence programmes. It offers customer-specific solutions through prototyping, engineering analysis, qualification and production tooling, and provides service, training, spare parts and upgrades over the system lifecycle.

Fjord Defence was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Nøtterøy, Norway, where it develops and manufactures all of its systems. The company lists the KNDS L2 and LMGT tripod projects among its work.

Product: Weapon mounts, lightweight tripods, maritime pedestals and gunwale systems, vehicle swing arms and skate mounts, plus lifecycle support.
