About Fishing-King
Fishing-King sells an online course that prepares people for the German fishing licence (Angelschein) exam. It also sells fishing equipment through its online shop and its own label, Fishing-King Tackle, including starter sets from 109 €. The course is described as TÜV-certified under ISO 29993, and the company says it develops it together with fishing associations and clubs.
Customers are individuals taking the fishing licence course and anglers buying equipment. Course vouchers can be bought as gifts. The company also runs the Fishing-King Cares initiative, which funds nature and animal protection projects each year.
The website states that the company has offered its online course for over ten years and that more than 200,000 participants have taken it. Course selection is by federal state in Germany and Austria, with Switzerland listed as a waitlist. The company is hiring an instructor for practical training days for the fishing exam in Hamburg, on a freelance, part-time or full-time basis.
