About Fast Travel

Fast Travel provides a platform for managing vehicle access, call-forward, enforcement and billing at airport forecourts and port vehicle-fee operations. Its TMS holds airport rules, operator registration, tariffs and sanctions, and creates a billing record for each passage. The Fast Travel Local controller drives barriers and reads plates and tags at each lane, and keeps local authorisation lists so vehicles already on the list can pass if the server link drops.

Customers are airport and port operators and the vehicle operators that use their forecourts. Under a contract with Avinor, Fast Travel runs access control, enforcement, call-forward and invoicing on the forecourt around the clock at five airports: Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim and Tromsø. It also runs vehicle-fee operations at Flatholmen port. Vehicle passages are billed at the applicable airport or port rates.

Fast Travel AS was established in 2023; the work began in 2021 at Oslo Airport. The company is based in Skien, Norway, with operations in Oslo. The website reports 1.6 million barrier passings a year, 15 barriers, more than 100 ANPR cameras and RFID readers, and 28 booking kiosks.

Product: Airport forecourt platform (TMS and Fast Travel Local controller) for registration, access control, call-forward, booking kiosks and per-passage billing.
