About Fjord Base Holding
Fjord Base operates an industrial supply and assembly port in Florø on Norway's west coast. Its services include quay and crane operations, logistics, warehousing, project cargo, workshop and technical services, and the leasing of land and buildings. It also develops activities in offshore wind, hydrogen and ammonia, and runs Saga Connect, a platform for planning and information sharing between companies on the base.
The base covers 1,500,000 square metres and has nine quays, with 67 companies located on it and 650 people working there. The website reports about 2,000 ship calls and 5,000 trailers a year, and around 75,000 lifting operations. Customers use the port for project cargo, logistics, maintenance and marine services, and tenants rent areas and buildings on the base.
The legal entity was founded in 2021, and the group is headquartered in Florø. Its contact details are in Norway. Open positions include a building and construction engineer and a machine operator, and the company says it recruits for logistics, maritime services, energy, technology, maintenance and administration.
