FAKTURA-X is business software that combines order management, inventory, cash register and accounting functions. It includes deposit (Pfand) and returnable container handling, contract cider pressing (Lohnmost) balances, brewery reporting via GEDAT, and interfaces to DATEV, SEPA and ZUGFeRD/XRechnung e-invoicing. It can run in a cloud or be installed locally on Windows and Apple systems.

The software is aimed at beverage traders, contract cider pressers, rental and lending businesses, food and wholesale companies, technical traders and engineering offices. It is used by hundreds of companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Customers pay a monthly fee of 149 EUR per office workstation and 99 EUR per cash register, plus VAT, under contracts with a 36-month term. Support, updates and form adjustments are included in the fee, and a paid introduction package covers data import, system setup and interface integration.

The software is produced by UNITED ENGINEERING GmbH & Co KG, based in Münster, Germany, which has been producing FAKTURA-X since 1996. The company states it has 15 employees and is fully self-financed.
