About Emery Soft Fruits
Emery Soft Fruits grows strawberries and raspberries on 42 hectares of farms in Hampshire and West Sussex. Production starts in glasshouses in mid-May and continues under polytunnels through the summer, with produce packed on site in West Wellow.
The company supplies UK supermarkets and markets its fruit through Farm Fresh PO, of which Emery was a founding member. Its produce is Red Tractor assured and Leaf accredited, and its packhouse holds BRC Grade AA* and Tesco grade 5. The stated aim is to grow 2,000+ tonnes of strawberries and 800 tonnes of raspberries per year.
The Emery family has grown fruit in Hampshire since 1966, and the business has passed through three generations. Emery Soft Fruits Ltd was incorporated in 2021 and joined the Greosn's Group in 2022, and is still managed by several members of the Emery family. The company recruits seasonal and permanent farm staff and provides accommodation for seasonal workers.
Product: Fresh strawberries and raspberries grown on company farms and supplied to UK supermarkets.
